Will Bail Bond Riverside Return Collateral?

If a bail bonds Riverside company asks for collateral such as extra money, car title, or deed to the home from an applicant, it is only to ensure that the defendant shows up for court. After the court case is heard there is no reason for the bail bond company to hold on to anything the applicant put up as collateral.

Generally collateral is released back to the applicant within seven days after the company is notified of the defendant’s completed court case. However, sometimes the return may take up to thirty days. If it is not returned within thirty days that is highly unusual and you should contact the bondsman.
