Yellowstone Photography Tips

Yellowstone photography can both be easy and challenging. With so much beautiful subject matter, there are many scenes that can be captured. The best time to shoot in Yellowstone is pre-dawn. However, mid-morning and late evening are also good times to snap some pictures. These are the times when animals are more active. Do not shoot your pictures with the sun behind you. Otherwise, the light in your pictures will make the subject look flat. Have the light come in from a different angle. Yellowstone photography works best with a 17mm or 200mm lens. The place has stunning landscapes. Not only that, but they have a wide range of animals.
